Evidence syntheses

140 structured review questions, each with a registered PICO frame, a reproduced search, an included-studies table, a summary of findings and an amendment log.

A synthesis answers a registered question over a defined evidence base and states how confident the Institute is in each answer. It reproduces its search so that it can be repeated, publishes its extracted data so that it can be checked, and logs every change made after registration so that post-hoc decisions are visible.

Two populations of question. 36 questions were authored individually. 104 were generated by crossing an indication with a compound for which contributing trials exist; their prose frame is templated and every such page says so, while their included studies, summaries of findings and certainty ratings are computed from the underlying records.

Nothing published by the Institute is medical advice, a diagnosis, a prescription, a treatment recommendation or a purchasing recommendation. Compounds supplied for research use are not approved for human or veterinary use in any jurisdiction, and a favourable analytical assessment of a supplier is not a statement that any product is safe or effective. The Institute publishes certainty ratings and never recommendations. No telephone number, messaging handle or ordering channel appears anywhere on this site.
